Insurance

Every school and university in France will also require a subscription to a liability insurance (assurance de responsabilité civile scolaire et extra-scolaire) which provides protection against claims resulting from injuries and damage to people and/or property.

Liability insurance (also called third-party insurance) covers legal costs and payouts for which the insured party would be found liable. The average cost of the service is about 30€.
